Adriana Lima workout routine – Diet plan of Adrian Lima:

Adriana said that she follows a special diet. The main focus is on maintaining a certain weight. She is a healthy eater and consumes vegetables and meat either grilled or steamed without any sauce. She also eats around five ounces of protein every day. She watches the portion and eats six meals a day. She likes to have protein shakes, which are labelled as Metagenics by her. So, let’s check out her diet plan.

Breakfast: Her day starts with oatmeal with egg whites and raisins. She loves her latte or cappuccino every day and uses honey to sweeten it. Sometimes her breakfast includes Muesli with honey or yoghurt. A control portion diet in which the number of calories you consume decreases with each passing day.

Mid-morning snack: Fruits and raw vegetables like carrots and cucumber. She also takes a teaspoon of honey or a small piece of chocolate during snacks.

Lunch: For lunch, she consumes proteins, typically fish, chicken or red meat. Grilled vegetables are also included in her lunch.

Afternoon snacks: Post lunch she eats dried cranberries and raw almonds and cashew.

Dinner: Dinner includes only salads. She keeps the dinner light, which helps her to stay fresh the next morning and sleep well. This diet is focused on toning and weight loss.

Post-dinner snack: This is her secret weapon. She drinks beverage made of buckwheat every night. Buckwheat is not wheat but is a gluten-free seed rich in protein.  Buckwheat is made using hemp milk and sweetened with honey. As per Adriana, this shake boosts the metabolism and satisfy the craving for something sweet. If you have buckwheat before bedtime, it will also help burn calories during sleep as your body will keep digesting the high-fibre while you are sleeping. It will also help you in debloating

Along with diet Adriana strictly follows her exercise routine. She works out at least six days a week year-round.

Boxing: Adriana’s workout routine includes boxing, which she loves doing. She does complex drills with higher strength and velocity. Boxing not just makes her fit physically it also keeps her mentally strong as balance and movement are key factors during boxing.

Adriana Lima workout routine HIIT:

High-Intensity Interval Training or HIIT is another exercise included in her routine. It involves high-intensity workout period followed by a small low-intensity exercise. To increase her athletic and cardiovascular capacity, Adriana uses the jump rope. It also helps in losing weight and toning. HIIT routine is one of the most important parts of her workout schedule.

 

 

Muscle building exercises: To get the desired body structure, Adriana performs high-intensity exercises, which help her build muscles. Bodyweight driven abdomen workouts and squats are performed to tone the body. Instead of using weights and machines, she practices body sculpting movements.

Other exercises: The supermodel also practices yoga for flexibility and Capoeira, which is a fusion of martial art, music and dance. Her workout routine also includes jogging and spinning.
